Minimum Required Qualification:
  • Have a NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in an administrative position.
  • Have a clear security screening record.
  • Have a valid driver’s license (if applicable).
  • Be medically fit to work in the specific business area.
Advantageous Qualifications:
  • NQF 5 (Higher Certificate) or NQF 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative position, experience with the specific business area
Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing standard documentation as specified for input or circulation
  • Maintaining an effective filing system
  • Operating copier and scanning devices/ machines
  • Inputting information onto a data base
  • Providing a clerical service to the relevant section
  • Preparing, completing and correlating a variety of documents for circulation or input
  • Typing documentation as specified
  • Arranging appointment schedules taking corrective action if required
  • Performing calculations and inputting documentation as required.
  • Resolving all internal and external section queries.
  • Inputting and extracting of information from various systems, identifying incongruencies and taking corrective action to ensure accuracy
  • Compiling and distributing relevant statistics and month end reports as required
  • Developing, maintaining and improving relevant data bases
  • Maintaining the stationary levels for the designated section to ensure availability
  • Resolving all internal and external section queries, following up and taking corrective action as appropriate
  • Maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally at all levels and cross-functionally.
  • Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders.
