Metallurgy Administrator - Samancor Chrome

Job Responsibilities:

SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY:

  • Participate and comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
  • Ensure the Mine Health and Safety Act, 1996 (Act No. 29 of 1996) safety and health standards are maintained
  • Ensure PPE bulk stock level is maintained. Issuing of PPE to employees.

CUSTOMERS:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Key Customers: Metallurgy Shift Supervisors, Practitioners, Specialist & Superintendent, Finance and Procurement.

BUSINESS PROCESSES:

  • Expedite quotations and create purchase requisition
  • Receive invoices and Create SES
  • Assist with compilation of maintenance plan/schedule
  • Maintain work History Data on CrSAP
  • Follow up on outstanding Purchase Requisitions / Orders
  • Expedite urgent Orders
  • Maintain Critical Spares Register
  • Track repair process
  • Track ’Outstanding Damaged” Rotables
  • Maintain Fesi Management & Usage Report
  • Maintain Flocculant Usage Report
  • Compile daily & monthly reports per section
  • Maintain plant perfomamce history
  • Generation of meeting minutes.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 with Maths & Science (50%)
  • Computer Literate
  • Must have 1 year plant experience
  • Must have previous experience on SAP &/ Coupe

Additional Qualifications:

  • Metallurgy Qualification Advantageous
